IFS F1 Tools

IFS F1 Tools can be used to develop solutions on IFS Applications 8, IFS Applications 9 and later. Using F1 Tools Setup these tools can be easily selected and installed from an Update Center.

These are the F1 Tools:

• IFS Report Designer
• IFS Configuration Builder
• IFS Application Forms Development Tools
• IFS Solution Developer
• IFS Update Analyzer
• IFS Report Data Extension

Update Center

The main update center of F1 tools is the file structure at \\corpnet\files\f1tools\. For customers and partners who do not have access to the IFS network, the files should be distributed to the local network. That way a a local Update Center will be establised.

Installation

Start F1 Tools Setup ("IFSF1ToolsInstaller.exe") and follow the instructions.

Automatic Update

Some of the tools to can update themselves automatically when new versions are avaliable. These tools will probe the update center for new versions.
